Becca Kufrin and and Garrett Yrigoyen finally made their official debut as an engaged couple on the live After the Final Rose special.
The Bachelorette season 14 lead received a gold Neil Lane engagement ring from her new fiancé, Garrett Yrigoyen.
“I wanted to make a ring that was totally different than anything I had done for the show before,” Neil Lane tells PEOPLE. “I wanted to create something very special for Becca, especially considering everything that happened with Arie.”
The massive sparklet is 18-carat gold, and boasts nearly 4 carats of diamonds.
“I wanted it to be elegant, quite glamorous and I wanted to use gold,” he explains. “It’s a whole different concept — it has three oval stones, which helps celebrate both of them as a couple and the third diamond represents their past, present, and future together.”
Garrett loved the concept and said, “The biggest one is our future together. This is the ring that she’s going to love.”
“You could tell Garrett was genuinely smitten, and just so excited and enthusiastic to be with Becca – he was funny, sweet and charismatic. He took the process of picking out the ring so, so seriously and seemed to enjoy it. He really studied them thoroughly and had a grin on his face, from ear to ear, the whole time. He was full of joy and his heart seemed wide open. It was a lot of fun for me to see so much love!”
“My professional estimate of the cost of Becca’s stunning 18k yellow gold diamond ring is $40k to $60k,” said celebrity jeweler George Khalife AKA George the Jeweler. “Given that it’s a Neil Lane, it’s going to cost at least 50 percent more just because it’s a designer. I would say depending on the quality at least $40k to $60k retail, but given that it’s Neil Lane, it could be $100k!”
Neil Lane did not immediately confirm the cost of the ring.
